In the early 1980’s homemade fabric boxes were a popular craft project. This involved covering a cardboard box with quilt batting and fabric, using a needle and thread and a hot glue gun. We didn’t use pre-made cardboard boxes, at least I didn’t in these projects. The boxes were fashioned from pieces of cardboard.
