Snoopy Baby Nursery

I thought some might enjoy these pictures, I do adore Snoopy! These photos are from the first digital scrapbook I created for our kids. As you can see the old images haven't been enhanced, something I would recommend when creating your digital scrapbook.

It's been over thirty years since we designed our first child's Snoopy bedroom, painted by friend and artist Cathi Julien. Although the pictures are a bit gainy, you can get a good idea of how the room looked, with its bright colors and cheerful decor.

Sentimental Furnishings

I refused to paint over the walls when we sold the house, much to the chagrin of our real estate agent. We still have the rocking horse, which will be going to stay with our new granddaughter in a few months. The small rocking chair was my sisters, and she will probably be giving it to her new grandson, who is arriving in a few months. We still have the large rocking chair, it is a few feet away from where I am writing this.

Recycling the Changing Table

I wouldn't mind having the changing table. There are lots of things you can do with an old changing table, such as using it for extra shelving in the bathroom, laundry room or garage. Remove the pad, alter the guard rails and add a little paint, to recycle a changing table once the tyke is out of diapers. Of course, what I really could use it for is to store my craft supplies! Add a few baskets to the shelves and it be great storage.
